Its funny how this government can not apply a definative date as to when the list is to be released.

I though political groups had policies in place wheich they can implement once they get in.

Not get in and then implement the policy. what did the peopl eover there vote for.

I hope there immigration system is not a reflection on how they run business over there as they would all be in trouble.

Maybe I am writing this out of frustration but this is shuch a long process which i ridiculous.

How long have you been waiting? I have waiting for my Green Card in US for 8 years and still I have to wait maybe 3 more for that, Canada even with the new changes to be announce looks faster to me.

Peace!

THANKS but how long does it take to update the new rule or just leave the old rules and stop the delay until they have the new rules.

People have lives that they want to get on with.

If you applied under the old rules, the new rules will have no effect on your application. If you applied under the new rules, you will just have to wait until they post them.

I agree that they did not do this in a good way, leaving a lot of people hanging. I would be a bit miffed myself had I applied after Feb and was currently waiting to see if I qualify at all anymore but there is nothing anybody here can do about it.

Cheers Leon
I applied from London chc and received my AOR in June 2007 so I think I am under the old rules.

I wonder if you could help with the below question?

Hello guys.

My University have said they do not disclose students results to 3rd parties.

My high school have said that as my exams were over 13 years ago 1995 to be precise they do not have duplicate copies of my certificates.

When the Immigration office calls them they will not get very far.

I do have some certificates but wanted to know what I should do?

1) You are under the old rules, you have nothing to worry about.

2) Your university: you can either suggest that you sign a document that gives them permission to disclose results. But listen, CIC isn't interested in your grades, only in your diplomas. All you need is that the university send a copy of the diploma. I don't see why this would be a problem. The alternative is: ask the university to sign a document stating that they do not deliver documents to third parties, and then you send your diploma yourself, with that document;

3) Your university may have a copy (or even the original) of your high school certificate; alternatively, you could provide your school with a copy of it (if you have one), and ask them to make a copy and sign it. But this is where "being nice" pays off. It's likely that you're asking them to do something that is not "by the book", although not illegal, not even wrong. If you demand it, you don't get it; if you ask nicely, you may get it. Note: I am not suggesting that you do anything illegal.
