Hi folks.

Last year I was thinking to apply using Skill Trade Program, but with the express entry the skill trade program now have a few NOC codes that are accepted.

My profession is 2171 regarding to professionals on information systems. If I'm currently working in Canada in this profession is skilled worker my only option right now?

I already have a LMO and I've been working in Canada for a year and a half, my IELTS score is 7 and I already have my ECA.

What should I do?

Thank you guys for your advice.

Gus :)

If you have a job offer for a permanent full time job supported by an LMIA (not LMO) then you can apply with CEC, otherwise FSW is your only option.

Thanks for your answer Dewan. In fact I'm already in Canada working since september 2013 I never thought in applying using Canada Experience Class because as far as I know it has the last priority in the queue at CIC. In my case I need a quick response regarding my permanent residence.

Even when I met the requirements for CEC I think FSW will be the option.

What do you think? Is it right about CEC processing times in the past?

Cheers,

Gus

CEC used to be the quickest way to get PR in the past. Anyway, under EE you'll be issued an invitation to apply so more and less all streams will be equal.

Yeap. EE is supposed to streamline the process for all the different categories.

Bottom line is, you don't have anything to lose to create and submit your EE profile with FSW. So go for it.

Good luck!
