Do you think it would be fine if I uploaded large size PDFs on GoogleDocs and provide links in the PDF that I upload to e-Application?

Unlikely to work. They really want those PDFs as part of your application.

Can you not try reducing the number of documents? Check if you're just providing a lot of redundant and superfluous information and if you could do away with some non-essential stuff.

I guess I will have to try that, reducing the number of reference letters I provide and some pages from bank statements. The biggest problem is I am trying to submit 6 years of bank transaction history on 3 different account + PayPal history of the last 6 years so that I can prove them my self-employed work experience, that I actually received money for my services. It might sound a bit over the top, but I know it is not, because that is exactly why I received an "incomplete application" in 2014. They do want those bank records. Or do you think a list of payments on a company letterhead with official stamp and signature from my clients would do?

The latter would work. You can always write a detailed LoE highlighting the technical difficulties of submitting all the detailed transaction records and volunteer that you are more than willing to submit any further additional documents if required.

Okay thanks a lot, I will try that.

Haznac, Would suggest to upload all required documents as before and as required by cic/ircc.

I don't think waiting for them to ask for a detailed version is a good idea.
Find a solution for your document size issue on a different website and upload documents, there is no reason for leaving any chances for disapproval !
:(

Thanks, th1nk1n. But there is simply not a chance I can upload all work history related documents in a 4MB PDF. It is simply not going to happen. It is technically impossible. I might put some of it to Letter of Explanation PDF, and explain why I had to do that.. That is my last resort I guess.

Hey,

I was in your shoes recently with the same dilemma and found some good tools/software online which help to compress documents- pdfs. all my documents were scans/pics so a 4mb limit just seemed incongruent to the list of requirements.
So finally I reduced the sizes of all pics and then after clubbing all the pdfs, compressed it with various tools available online to get a readable but reduced-in-size product. ;D

I have 55 pages in my work history document and the file size was 12 MB. I used Adobe acrobat pro to reduce to 3.9 MB.
