SINP - Skilled Worker from Pakistan

Dear All,

If you have submitted an application through the SINP Skilled worker from Pakistan (karachi) and you have been nominated already; awaiting response from visa office or you have gotten your visa and you are making your way to canada or are already in canada please post your timeline so others may know what the waiting process may be.

SINP Skilled worker Category NOC B:

Application sent : November 25, 2009
Nomination Letter received: May 10, 2010
Application pack sent to London Visa Office: August 16, 2010

If any one from pakistan have sent their documents to london please share how long will it take to complete or finalize this whole process. is there any estimated time lines for the same?

when i will receive the acknowledgment letter from London? 3 months? and what will be the expected documents they will ask for?

please please please share and guide whatever you guys can.

you will don't get any acknowledgment letter. you will get response after 4 month INSHALLAH.

Hi, I am also from Karachi... I got nominated from AINP (alberta) ... got nominated in march 2010 and applied to london in april 2010. I got the medical request in july 2010.

with medical request they also asked for these. they gave 60 days...

* proof of funds
* source of funds
* plan of economic establishment in canada
* rfpr fee
* proof of relationship in canada

i submitted these documents late july and medical in first week of august...

to some sinp candidates they also asked ielts... you can see this forum.

Sorry to bother you again. can you please elaborate mention below term, its quiet confused,

* proof of funds
* source of funds
These both terms can be proved by bank statement? or source of funds means that if i have 10,000 CAD in my bank a/c i have to provide them a proof where did i get that money.... ????

can you please share what u did.

yes you understand correct, they wanted to know how money is obtained. the exact term (hand written) is that "document how you obtained the funds"

so for proof of funds i showed the bank balance certificate and the provident fund balance from my employer. and for source, i showed my tax returns for last few years and also last month's pay slip.

i hope they accept it. but i also feel, one can show the salary statement letters, inheritance documents etc. to provide source of funds.

regarding plan, it was also hand written by visa officer, i think they wanted a first person account of his/her plan of what he/she will be doing in canada to be economically established e.g. finding job etc.

plz all seniors i really need ur help
as my sister has 5 overall band score in ielts..R-4,L-4.4, W-5.5, S-5.5,
she wants to apply for saskatchewan as skilled worker with job offer, her noc code is 1221.. i know that we can get sinp approval witout ielts as there are many other alternatives for this...but alter visa officer can ask for ielts
i want to know that i have seen on this forum many peolpe are saying that visa officer asking for ielts..but is visa officer asking to family member catagory who even, have job offer,OR also asking for ielts to those who are under skill worker catagory,with job offer...
if they are asking for ielts to skilled worker with job offer, what ielts they want to see..is 5 band ok
moreover, if employer from sakatchewan gave a written proof that he will have asettlement plan for applicant , and he will manage ESL classes for him to improve english then is it work.

5 band IELTS score is ok, but no body from the SINP office or CIC Visa office London in the position to answer the question that, What score of IELTS they require, ? SINP manager said that the score of IELTS is vary from person to person, but 5 score is ok, they just want to know that applicant has the Basic knowledge of English.

is it true if they ask for medical then it means if u r gud in health and ur security check are ok...they will give u visa...as i have heard they ask about medical when they are ready to give u visa
plz guide that all questions relating to ielts, job etc are asked before medicals..it means medical means yes

is visa officer select pnp nominees on basis of six factors which is used for selecting federal skilled workers like age, education,ielts, experience etc...
if some one is sinp nomiee and he has approval from sinp ..is his 5 overall ielts band can work well if visa officer asked about to submit his ielts......bcz at least moderate level of ielts is requirement for all federal workers....but is it same for pnp nominees
plz comment on this whatever i asked bcz this question is asked by that person who really cant use internet very well and not member of this forum thats why he is asking from me...and plz all u here help me
just i need answer that is visa officer has 6 factors criteria (age, education,ielts,experience etc...) same for federal and provincial workers...

I am in contact with SINP managers (Mr. David Li and Ms. Tracy Davies) and CIC designated immigration officer (Mr. Robert Miller) at London England, and according to them that proof of language proficiency is not mandatory for Provincial Nominees in the same way that it is for Federal Skilled Workers. but we may request additional information at any time during the application process.

thanks to almighty Allah, i have a good news for you, today i recieved reply from Designated immigration officer Mr. robert Miller CIC Via Office London, in his reply he said that they will not refuse or reject an application from provincial nominee only on the basis of IELTS.
