I thought this is required for past 10 years only from the date of application.

10 years limit for Supplementary Information- Your Travels form.
Do not mention any where about this.

thanks for the reply, I have checked the exclusions and that is why I am interested to know because it is mentioned above the exclusion list the below:

Additional information
  • Mobility is possible to civil, mechanical, electrical or other engineering design technologies through educational or work specialization.
  • Senior and supervisory drafting and design technology workers require experience.

So mobility is possible for mechanical engineering design. Now while reviewing 2232, this NOC has additional duties that 2253 doesn't; therefore, my understanding is that if one claims 2253, but has no duties from 2232, under the mobility possibility they have stated, it should be fine. I.e. 2253 can design and draft mechanical engineering related equipment if he or she doesn't perform other duties under 2232. Is my understanding correct?

I have paid a third party to verify this point as well, docviri.com not sure how reliable they are.

Need urgent info. I need to apply for CIPS and was wondering where to send the membership filled form. I tried reaching to CIPS but no response yet. Can anybody please guide in this process. Also, Do I need to take membership first before applying for certification or Can I go direct for certification ? Looking for quick response.

Can a mechanical engineer choose NOC 6221? under 6221 it is mentioned under requirements:

"A university degree or college diploma in a program related to the product or service is usually required."

If a product is related to mechanical engineering (HVAC equipment), this means a mechanical engineer can be eligible for this NOC. Will SINP reject the application because education doesn't match work experience? please advise.

I am unsure about the NOC question, but if your work experience is not related to your bachelors or masters, your application will be rejected. Thai is confirmed and well documented on the SINP website.

yes that’s a given and I think everyone who have created an eoi knows it. That’s why i am asking this question to ppl who might be able to give feedback on this noc. Not to know what basic information available in the sinp application.

I finally updated my NOC to 6221 and got experience letters from the past 10 years matching this NOC, selecting NOC was very difficult for me but this was done. And I received my masters ECA and now I have 69 points with NOC 6221. Hoping to get ITA in the next draw.

Dear experts,

I am collecting as many documents as I could to be ready in case I receive ITA, one of the documents is governmental proof for work experience in terms of job contract. I work in Dubai, and in Dubai they mention in the work contract your profession only and they do not put the actual position in the company. For example, a sales engineer position will be mentioned as an engineer. If his certificate is mechanical they will mention mechanical engineer and so on.

my question is, will this cause an issue? I have checked many of my friends' contracts, including the Engineering and sales directors, and both have "mechanical engineer"in their governmental contract.
