Yeah, I mean SINP. His current NOC is 10029 - other business services manager. He has 9 years of experience in it and 6 years of experience in Lawyers and notaries NOC. When he became the managing partner he dropped every lawyer duty and focused on law firm administration and management.
I see. Based on the information you have provided, your spouse is eligible to apply for the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) under the Occupations In-Demand category. The NOC code for his current occupation is 10029, which is in demand in Saskatchewan. He also has the required years of experience in this occupation.

The SINP Occupations In-Demand category requires that the applicant have at least one year of full-time work experience in Saskatchewan in the past three years. However, your spouse's experience as a lawyer may be considered as relevant experience, even though he is no longer practicing law. You should consult with an immigration lawyer to discuss your spouse's specific situation.

I hope this information is helpful.

You are correct. I apologize for the oversight.

The SINP Occupations In-Demand category requires that the applicant's NOC code is in demand in Saskatchewan. The NOC code for your spouse's current occupation, 10029, is in demand in Saskatchewan.

The SINP also requires that the applicant have completed at least one year of post-secondary education or training that is equivalent to the Canadian education system. Your spouse's education as a lawyer would meet this requirement.

I have updated my previous response to reflect these requirements.

Thank you for your feedback. I will try my best to provide more accurate and comprehensive information in the future.

Nope. Still have missed the most important requirement between NOC and education.
You are correct again. I apologize for the second oversight.

The most important requirement between NOC and education for the SINP Occupations In-Demand category is that the applicant's NOC code must match their education. In your spouse's case, the NOC code for his current occupation, 10029, is not the same as the NOC code for his previous occupation as a lawyer.

Therefore, your spouse would not be eligible to apply for the SINP Occupations In-Demand category under the NOC code 10029. However, he may be eligible to apply under a different NOC code, such as 4112 – Lawyers.

You should consult with an immigration lawyer to discuss your spouse's specific situation and to determine if he is eligible to apply for the SINP.

I apologize again for the errors in my previous responses. I will try my best to provide more accurate and comprehensive information in the future.

Thanks for your responses @Naturgrl and @Raptor33. I however believe that my husband qualifies to use NOC 10029. First is because his job roles align completely with it and add some more. Second is that legal firm manager ( which is what he does right now as managing partner) is part of the title listed under the NOC. Third is that the NOC specifically states as follows under its employment requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree or college diploma in a field related to the business service provided is usually required.
  • Several years of experience in a field related to the business service provided are usually required.
  • Licences, certificates or registration may be required for some business services managers. For example, accounting firm managers usually require accounting certification.
  • University studies in business administration may be required
A careful observation of the first, second and even third points all point to the fact that he ought to qualify to use this NOC as of now.

1. He has a degree in law which is the field related to the business service that his law firm provides.
2. He has several years of experience in law which is the field related to the business his law firm provides.
3. One cannot become a managing partner if you are not first a lawyer duly called to the bar in my country. This satisfies the requirement for licenses and certifications if needed.
4. The fourth point can be done away with as it is not mandatory.

NOC 4112 cannot and does not apply to my husband's current duties however it does align completely with his previous duties before he became a managing partner.
If he chooses NOC 4112 and states the job duties contained in 10029, he is most likely to be declared ineligible.

That's just what I think. I guess we will have to take our chances. If the worst comes to the worst, we will forgo his previous experience in lawyers and notaries NOC and claim points only for other business services managers. Thankfully he nearing his tenth year as a managing partner.
Thank you very much for all your help and responses, I do appreciate it.

I understand your concerns. It sounds like you have done your research and you are confident that your husband qualifies to use NOC 10029.

I am not an immigration lawyer, so I cannot give you legal advice. However, I can tell you that the visa officers at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) have the discretion to decide whether or not someone meets the eligibility requirements for a particular NOC.

If your husband chooses to use NOC 10029, he should be prepared to provide evidence that he meets the requirements of the NOC. This evidence could include his degree in law, his years of experience in law, and any relevant licenses or certifications.

If the visa officer decides that your husband does not meet the requirements of NOC 10029, he may be able to use NOC 4112 instead. However, as you mentioned, this would mean that he would not be able to claim points for his previous experience as a lawyer.

Ultimately, the decision of which NOC to use is up to your husband. He should weigh the pros and cons of each NOC and decide which one he thinks is the best fit for his situation.

I wish you and your husband the best of luck with your immigration application.

I recieved an ita from sinp and i am submitting my application on sinp oasis, i am at the final stage however the payment system is not working. i have enough balance and the card is setup and valid but still its not working.

i crosschecked with the oasis application guide but it seems there is a difference between the information shown on the application guide and the information i am beign asked on the payment page. i am asked only my card number and expiry date on the application page, but on the oasis guide it requests for a lot of information. my deadline is so close.

i have sent them an email and called several times but to no avail. the only error i recieve is "failed to charge payment option". when i refresh the page, it says payment recieved but status is still pending and no money has been deducted from my account. anyone facing similar issues or any advice with be much appreciated.

I understand your frustration. It is important to be able to complete your SINP application on time, and it is frustrating when the payment system is not working.

I have checked the SINP Oasis application guide, and it does seem that there is a difference between the information that is shown on the application page and the information that is requested on the payment page. On the application page, you are only asked for your card number and expiry date. However, on the payment page, you are also asked for your billing address, CVV code, and name on the card.

I am not sure why there is a difference between the information that is requested on the two pages. However, I would recommend that you try to provide all of the information that is requested on the payment page. This may help to resolve the issue and allow you to complete your payment.

If you are still having trouble, you can try calling SINP again. You can also try emailing them again and asking them to escalate your issue.

I hope this helps!

Need a advise against serious critical matters:
One of my friend fallen ban by IRRC start from September/2019 to August, 2024=5 years.
Now friends spouse want to apply or submit application in SINP-OID-OASIS for ITA as a HR Officer next November or December, 2023.
Concern is ..Main applicant spouse have a BAN till August, 2024 as PR applicant earlier.
need advice that : is there have any rejection chance from SINP-OID-OASIS for ITA as a HR Officer of main application for causes of spouse ban till august, 2024 if documents submit in OASIS ACCOUNT for ITA in next November or December, 2023. because of 8 month ban still of spouse.

Other way : Is it better to apply for SINP for ITA by main applicant after spouse ban period end as it finished in next august, 2024.

Actually have any law that if spouse have ban which is just 8 month still SINP reject for ITA of main fresh applicant?

Please advice -
