SINP OID PR Applicants for Nov - Dec 2016 - Outland only please

Hi

I am a 22Nov16 applicant and got nominated on 8Dec16.

Submitted my PR documents to CIC on 23Jan17 and they received it on 29Jan17. I linked my paper based application on 4Feb17. Today the status changed to as follows:

Application status : We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility: Your application is in progress. The next step is to review your eligibility.

Application status was previously "Open" and Review of eligibility was "Not Started".

I have not received any message or email. Is this AOR? I heard that AOR normally takes 2.5 months. How long does it take to review eligibility? Could someone advise. Thanks

Hi monsij. Yes this is normal. My status is also the same. it changed the same yesterday. My application was receiver by CIC on -1st feb and I linked on 05th feb. I think AOR is on the way now , Please see the following , Its seems Eligibility Review In process is the final stage before issuing AOR. So wait for the golden email and till your application turns without X

How to link your paper application online

(1) Go to the link below:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp
(2) Click on continue to Gckey to create your account
(3) If You've already created an account, login with your Username and Password otherwise Click on Sign up to go on next page and create your username, password and security questions.
(4) After creating my CIC account, click link application to this account.
(5) Then select category as Permanent residence and Provincial Nominee.
(6) Then select Family name, given name and date of birth option.
(7) Fill your family name(surname), given name and date of birth as per Passport or Application form.
(8.) Next in applicant personal info panel fill Passport information only
(9) Next search for your application.
(10) Your application will be found and can be linked.
(11) You can get real time updates on your paper application online

Monsji, i read your application info. Just to share with you that my paper based application was received on 11th Jan 2017. As on today the status of my application is same that you mentioned. I guess, we should receive very soon the AOR !!

we have exactly the same status... also I am asking why there is no email regarding this..
senior says once they finalize the background check and ready to send to VO, AOR will be sent... so just wait till that moment...

thanks for this info. My paper based application was received by CIC on 11th Jan 2017 and received AOR on 19th March 2017. I guess, you should also receive AOR in a day or two. All the best !!
