I submitted my profile (SINP- OID) at 29 Jul 2016 - yes it 17 months ago.
My file been transferred to Ottawa visa office - passed the medical check at 22 Dec 2016 , and since that no changes occurred in my profile !!!!
including My background check didn't started till now !!!
and my Background check status is :"Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check."
I sended for them many Emails - every time get the same silly answer
"Please be informed that your application is currently in queue for review by an officer.
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a date on which your file will be reviewed.
Please be assured that you will be contacted immediately should further information be required or regarding the next steps in your file. We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum."
I am almost passed the average processing period , and I don't know how to make a claim or escalate it.
