Good day people.
I have a friend who was nominated for the Occupation In Demand stream yesterday ; 18th November, 2016. He applied on the 24th of October under the Civil Engineering Technologist occupation. Can he still apply under the Express Entry stream , though, he already got the nomination letter for Occupation In Demand?

Hi GENTLEANDREW,

No. SINP OID means EE will not work for those. (I am one of them). The nomination letter we receive clearly mentions that we cannot apply under Express Entry stream.

There is a separate PR process where we need to collect all the documents and manually mail them to their Sydney, Nova Scotia office.

The processing time for OID after nomination is 16 Months (once they receive all your documents).

I got this query from Immigration Office

Criteria Description
Settlement Funds Settlement funds are required when no employment offer exists. You must have proof of having $12164 CAD maintained in your account(s) for at least 3 months prior to your application to the SINP and maintained throughout the entire immigration process. Please provide bank statements or letters from your financial institution indicating balances and transaction history of the account(s) from July 24, 2016 to today's date.

Also your term deposit was only put in place October, 2016 and matured November, 2016. Please provide proof of renewal plus proof of the funds being in place since July 24, 2016.

I don't think I can make this query. But will try my level best.

i cant find any paper size required for the documents in OID, it means i can print in A4 or in 8x11? appreciate your response.
