SINP May-2012 application with Job offer latter in skilled worker category

This is Nick from India, i have applied in May-2012 with job offer in skilled worker category n got file number in July-2012, since then no news from there. is there anyone who have the same timeline? plz join this thread n discuss more about it..most welcome.

Hi im outside Canada right now.

My employer just received the Job Approval letter on Mar18,2013.


Any idea if how long the nomination is will be released.

Stephen - Now since your employer has received the job approval letter, you need to attach it to your file and submit your file to SINP. It MIGHT take 8 to 12 months for nomination once you submit your file.

My application was actually filed but was refused last dec 4,2012 because there is no Job Approval.

My consultant asked for second review and they are supposed to give the decision after 60 working days from Dec 31,2012 but until now they failed to reply it is now 3 months plus

Now that there is Job approval form before the result of the second review is out do you think we still need to wait for another 8-12 months?

Stephen: If you are waiting for a second review and there is a change in circumstances they will not consider the change in the review to my understanding. You will have to file a new case. For example if your file was refused due to lack of Job Approval, you will not be able to add it now but will need to file a new case. Listed below are the excerpts from the SINP Website:


If your application was not approved and you wish to request a secondary review you
must provide the following:
o Send a signed letter to the SINP requesting a secondary review within 45 days
of the date on the refusal letter you received indicating your application was
not approved.
o In your letter, you must clearly state your grounds for review. You will not be
able to add new documents or information to support your application at this
stage.
o The second review is based on the information contained in your completed
application. If you have new documents or information, you will have to
submit a new application to the SINP.
o If the SINP receives your letter within the 45 day period and the letter
contains the required information, then your application will be reviewed by a
different manager and you will be notified of the final decision by email.

Thanks for being so helpful.

Our application was actually applied last Oct 2011 and we had our file # last Nov 2011.But unfortunately the first company did not confirm my job offer so they sent me a letter last sept 2012 asking for the a new job offer which we sent few days later(job offer without SINP Approval) but then it was still refused last dec4 saying we did not furnish a new job offer. My consultant emailed with the SINP officer and one of them said the refusal might be because of breakdown of the communication so he will get back to us asap. But then I received a letter on Dec 31,2012 saying they will perform a second review and will get back to me for their decision in 60 days time(I did not receive any reply yet).

I am really lost and depressed as I waited for so long.

If we have to reapply do you think we need to wait for another year again.

Hi Stephen - Thanks for all the details. As SINP has agreed that this is due to communication breakdown somewhere, let us hope that they give out the positive response in the second review. Meanwhile I will advise you to submit your job approval letter and the offer letter from the same employer to SINP so that they are aware that you have a confirmed approved job letter.
