17 May EE app. POF tranferrable fund proof asked and sent same day.

Funds in my wife's name are fully converted, but they asked for my funds. Got LOE from bank along with statement and sent. Lets see..status is WOA right now.

Dear Altruists, need a suggestion regarding passport. I have applied in SINP-EE, May intake. My application status is in process. The validity of my passport expires on Jan'17. Now if I apply for a new passport, what would be the procedure of updating my information. If I do the same after receiving nomination- ITA, will that be any problem. I am not getting any concrete information regarding this. Don't want to any risk & also want to know what would be the best time to apply for new passport. Your advise will be really helpful.

I don't think this is a matter of thought as you have a valid passport now. Besides why are worried about the renewal when you have almost like 7 months remaining before expiry. By this time if SINP considers your application (let's hope they considers mine too), you will get SINP nomination, ITA from CIC and within 5 months you will be in Canada. So don't worry friend, you will get a Canadian passport by then. ;D And if this time is not sufficient then you can always inform them about any changes in document.

how much is sinp requirement fund?

it was manually done with increased principal amount, but on the same day. my funds in previous TD was also more then SINP requirement

But how can CIC do this? They don't have copies of our Job reference letters, Education record etc. We only send them Passport copies, Birth certificates, Marriage Cert. Nomination Letter, PCC.

Agreed, but the federal officers might have access to your application submitted to SINP and they can look at the job description provided to SINP

It will surely reopen in 2016 as after looking at the past trend. I would recommend be prepare with complete application and monitor the website daily to check its opening.

Friends if we are nominated by SINP and want to stay in other state, what would be future consequences? Though its ethically incorrect but if you need same due to one or other issues, what legal issues we will face please explain comprehensively. Thanks
