Do you mind sharing what you did to transfer of your file from SGVO to Manila office?

Mate, I actually did not do anything but a nice surprise gift from God. I was assigned to stick to Singapore VO on June 2012 from MPNP applicant. (I'm originally from Vietnam). Then one day in Feb 2014, I requested CAIPS notes to see how it's going on with my application. I'm shocked to know I got transferred to Manila V.O due to a re-work load distribution. The coming week I got an email from Manila VO with MR.

That's why I assume Singapore VO is also trying their best to reduce the backlog.

@Danny_2009: Bro, Can you please share with us how you get transferred? You sent a request or God helped you to transfer to Sydney V.O?

Hi Rosy cheeks. We lived in Singapore more than six years up to date.Its really frustrating knowing that SGVO will process our application. I applied for SINP two years ago and wan nominated end of October 2013.My consultant said they indicate the office as OTTAWA but I don't know why they assigned SGVO knowing that we are her on employment pass.

Hi Stephen,

You need to have a valid reason for them to allow you for transfer. It really depends on the officer. But if you are filipino, you have a legal reason for transfer since the visa should be processed in your home country or on your country of residence. You can just explain further to support for your request. Eg. your family is living in PH. Or you always change address here in SG co'z you are only renting your place and your address in PH is permanent. Or you are about to end your contract and will stay in PH. And dont forget to request for update of address from SG to your PH address.

Congrats for those who were transferred due to SGVO file reduction processing.

I had been waiting for Singapore VO 21 months then I ordered CAIPSNOTES online to see what was going on with my file because at that time I was frustrated and exhausted of waiting. The CAIPSNOTES company charged 30USD for their repeated client like me. When I had just done payment for CAIPSNOTES, I checked my email, it turned out that CIC Sydney asked to do medical check and do other things like police check and police check. I didn't imagine that my application was transferred to Sydney because they never contacted Singapore VO.

Hi Stephenpb,

I applied through the case specific enquiry. I requested for an update of my particulars. Then I include the request for the transfer and the reason and stating my home country address will be my permanent address. After 23 days I received an email notifying me that my documents were transferred to Manila.

did our medicals on 14th March, they couriered the documents over on 20th March, ECAS status still not changed as yet
