steveheng>> i hope so that it's 20months for getting PR. it's taking too long for all of us....SGVO has to wake up and process our applications. It's 18months for me, which means i will get PR by July? a bit far fetched and in my wildest dreams...I need a sign from SGVO!!!

Hi Kasin. Normally, you will get Immigration visa on July ( 20 months from your AOR). Nevertheless, the processing time are also depending on how long you get criminal record, and how long IOM will issue your Medical Record, and of course how is CIC staffs who are doing your application. Don't be angry, you will be next after me.

To those who got passport request.

Do you have to send previous expired passport along with your current passport?

The reason you send PP to Cic is to stamp visa on it, what previous PP needed for ?

Hi kidrobot, Yes, it is police certificate that everyone must provide to CIC including you.

I get my Police Cert. done in 5 minutes. I apply it at the HQ. The process is pretty fast and I'm so glad that everything is smooth.

Is hard to estimate or know when we will get our visa. Some files process faster and some is slower. No idea what is happening. There is nothing we can do except wait and check your email everyday. Wait is killing me from year 2011. Everyone go through the same waiting process time like you. Sometimes will feel frustrated but we still got to hang on there and hope for the best.

fffarrin and eeeasssy>>any updates from sgvo?

anyway let's say my wife is going to land and then head back to Singapore in 2 weeks' time to settle the loose ends and continue working the next one year before she goes over to canada for good. does she have to make another list of goods again? actually, what is the purpose of creating a list of goods?

list of good that you'll bring to Canada in the futures without tax (for example, TV, should be specific model, size, series number etc..)

Hello guys. I am Rony, an SINP family applicant from Bangladesh. Applied 20 months ago. I am hoping I would get notifications from SINP in few months.

I am wondering if any of you have any idea about the processing time after one gets the nomination. Anyone?

Thanks Nusrat for your reply. Good to know there are people from Bangladesh in this forum.

My application is still with SINP. I might be wrong, but I think I applied at a time (August 2011) when there was no online application.

I am not very knowledgeable of the process. 23 months is the timeline that is shown for 'provincial nominee applications' in CIC website. If I understand correctly from what you said and CIC website, will it take around 23 months after the file gets transferred to Singapore?
