What time does High Commission of Canada Singapore Visa Office opens in the morning?

I am planning to go there tomorrow and submit the additional docs and police clearance. I will also want to clarify if we need to give them our passports since they requested it in their email.

I think submission is in the morning only.

Hi Ivenal,

Based on your timeline, it took around 1yr 5months for you to receive med request. I guess, mine will be close or more to that. Haiz... anyway at least now I can say I can expect it around half year or to a year. Congrats!

SGVO opens around 8:30am. I went there around 8:00 today.

So the countdown begins

They did not get our passports because it is not needed yet. SGVO mistakenly added the passports requirements in the email they sent to us. Good thing I personally submit the additional documents.

I also asked how long will it take to receive the passports requirements and she said she doesn't know because she is not the one who process it.

Hopefully it will be fast Counting days again

It's a bit dangerous for them to send wrong passport request to applicant. If the applicant send the passport via courier then it will be a big trouble for applicant. Hope things process fast. Waiting is killing me!

I check our status in ecas and still the same "Application Received" but some good news though - they said that they received our Medical results! (result sent to Manila Office).

"We received your application for permanent residence on August 3, 2011.
Medical results have been received."

Hope it will be PPR soon

Hi all,
Thanks for the 'welcoming note', I just realized that this forum is largely for those who have submitted their application in the 2nd phase ie to the Singapore VO. Mine is actually still in Phase 1 ie the nomination process.

Nevertheless, the forum in general gives good insight on the real issues that most applicants face before, during and after the whole application process. It's also very informative on certain clarification not explicitly explained on most websites.

I noted that the application process in Sin VO really takes a long time, now with the revision of timeline as well. But strangely, I heard from some Singaporean friends that their application took only in avg of 8 months to finalize with nomination cert. I also have relatives in Malaysia claiming they had theirs done within a year, this is as recent as Feb 2012.
I'm a Singaporean and I'm equally anxious to know if mine will be processed within 23 months or sooner..
