I don't think they will start issuing PPR before travel restrictions is relaxed for copr holders.
The travel restrictions would matter for spouses. Hence I wonder what will they do. plus if that was the case why even bother opening VFS. Honestly this lack of transparency is what creates all much inquiry and issues.
I haven't heard anyone get a PPR, but I have heard 2 people got their biometric request. Also read online about how hard it is to get an appointment for biometric appointment these days.

I believe they opened VFS for biometrics and passport delivery of students, work permit holders and immediate family members who are exempt from travel restrictions. I also think spouses will get ppr if their application is approved and do not require interview. Unfortunately, most of the spouse visa asks for interview.

I am hopeful we won't need an interview, given they provide the pre-arrival letter and also in the GCMS note we saw there is a VISA IM1 issued. Hence I am curious why there is no PPR yet.

Based on my GCMS, my application has been approved and moved to Singapore for PPR. It just seems like I don't see anyone getting PPR from SGVO, I'm sure they're not closed, right?
are they usually this slow?

I would suggest you email SGVO or submit a webform. We did the same and received PPR in a few days.

What did you say in the email though? Do you mind sharing further?
I actually don't mind spending a few thou $$ to do quarantine and able to show proof but I was just wondering if there's anything else I could explain to expedite the PPR.

Thanks in advance!
