Good news just received request for Passport today...no interview
Processing started 28th September 2009
Passport Request 24th December 2009 (request received 4th Januay 2010)

Wow, it's fast ;D. I got passport request from Spore Dec 3,and 'till now, I haven't heard any news from them yet. Why does it take too long? So frustrated....
Anyway, Congratulations!!!

I got passport requests in the mail.
My ecas still shows 'in process'. I guest immigration officers are busy due to holidays.

Did you ever receive "medical received" on ecas or by mail?

My ecas just shows "We start processing....application on....". That's all I got. No "medical received" appears...Hey, my case is special, isn't it???

as for me nothing as yet
still 'in process' in Singapore office since Nov 11 2009.. :-[

I got the passport request from postal mail and not e-mail. According to ecas it still shows in process and medical received.

Juck a quick note...I got my visa today. What a great day!!!! I'm going to land on Feb 24. See you guys there... :-*

My time line. Married my wife from Vietnam.

1. Received application, June 29, 2009.
2. July, 28. 2009,approved and sent to Singapore.
3. Aug. 14 2009, Started processing.
4. Feb.2 2010 Request for other paper work.

A very long wait thru Singapore, Anyone that can give me their timeline Canada to Vietnam? My thinking we lost a week or two for Xmas and a week in Luner New Year and three weeks for other paper work requested = 6 weeks on back order!
