Yes, Decision Made in 100% of the cases means they have already issued visa on the passports.
It is just how long they take after to send the passport back.

My journey with CIC is finally over. Took an exact 26 months in total after being put through the interview queue.
It's tough but it is worth the wait. Good luck to you folks. I really hope SVO brings out a more efficient process in the near future. Waiting for 2-3 years is no joke!!!

Congrats! You had to wait an astounding 873 days! :o Encouraging for us when the times become difficult, but at the same time, we hope for a little shorter process.

I do, however would like to clarify, that a decision made after submitting PP does not guarantee 100% COPR. There have been two cases on here, Talon59 being the most recent, who had decision made in ecas after submitting passport, only to find passport sent back with refusal letter.

Don't want to rain on anyone's parades...just better to wait until passport back in hand, then to rely on ECAS. I do want to add, that Talon59 did have an interview prior to submitting passport, and as others have said, the chances are almost positively, you will obtain passport with visa after decision made.

The next set of passports to be returned, will likely be those who obtained decision made within July 1-12.

In any case, i count 15! of you who will see that magical envelope with your passport and COPR within the next few weeks. Seems this thread will see a lot of activity (hopefully all positive). 8)

These are spousal sponsorship files, my assumption is that it has reached the final stages due to everything else being approved. I expect regular approval just like everyone else before us that have sent passports for PR visa.

All I have to say is you got PPR in just 6 months after applying, that's way faster than normal. What's your relationship background? Seems like everyone else here had to wait at least double your time.

Yah Decision Made means either positive or negative.... But that is like 99.99% positive, so unless there is a reason to worry, don't get heartaches.

BTW I want to volunteer in Singapore CHC to help them process faster ;)

Maikan submitted via courier, bubbletea via VFS Ho Chi Minh city. Kevin002 looks as though he already has in hand. Hope this helps.

Our application went into in Process on July 28, 2014.

Hi guys! I have a question regarding outland application. I'm Malaysian married to Canadian in 2001 and we live in Malaysia for 12 years now. We have 2 kids. ( In the process to get their certificate of citizenship). We're planning to move to Canada next year to take care of my mother-in-law and also for my kid's education. I did my degree in Dentistry in Canada from 1997-2001 and only went to Canada once in 2005 for my brother-in-law wedding. We haven't been to Canada since then. My question is, if I want to apply for outland application, what are the chances that my application will be approve? My husband don't have any ties at all to canada except that he has his family there. No bank account, not paying tax there ( since he's paying tax in malaysia), no loan, no credit card, even his driving license expired long ago ( since he can't renew it from malaysia). How are we gonna prove intent to move to canada? He can apply for jobs but who gonna give offer if he can't work right away? The other option is to apply inland. Have to apply for TRV ( since mine was expired long ago) then go to canada and apply from there. I look at the timeline for people applying outland..most of the people get it less than 20 months. Applying inland it will take 19 months now..not so much difference. But i'm scared that if i apply outland it will get refused since he has more ties in Malaysia than canada. Help!! I need your input in providing evidence for intent to move back to Canada.

hi , im kinda in the same boat with a much shorter time scale. i met my Malaysian husband while studying dated around 5 years married now for 2 and been living in msia with him since 2012. i just put my application in. As for prooving intent im in the same bout i have no bank account job drivers etc etc except my parents are still there. I gave an explanation letter and a date of my return to Canada. And some masters programs ive applied to. I tihnk the strongest thing is to eventually go back and set up base before your spouse comes. I think its eventually what im going to end up doing , and i KNOW its hard beleive me. We havent even had children cuz were so afraid....because you have an amazingly strong relationship history so theres nothing to really keep your application for the full 30 months i mean the point is to establish a genuine relationship which i tihnk urs def is!!! but thats just my 2 cents worth!
