All I got was the CORP, a stamp in his passport and instructions on what to do when you get to the airport... What's B4 forms?

B4 is the Personal Effects Accounting Document:

http://www.cbsa.gc.ca/publications/forms-formulaires/b4-eng.pdf

I've read that some people decided to fill out this form when immigrating. Not sure whether it's actually mandatory. In the package your husband just got, there's no instruction to fill it out? If not, then I think it's probably not mandatory... :)

guys, i need your advise. Am freaking out here. sigh....

some problems with my schedule A, they asked me to send a new copy(which i promptly send them a copy again) and said that my application is currently pending final review. anyone here knows what does that mean? My passport is with them now. How long more do i have to wait? Will the decision turn out to be negative. Sigh.....aarrrgghhh

someone please help

Just curious: what caused the SVO to reply you back with that email? What did you ask them?

"Final review" probably just means a last/final check...probably they're doing a final check of the criminal history, background, IMM 5669, appendix A, etc etc, and quite possibly some more things we likely will never find out.

My wife got a similar email (about the final review stuff) but they didn't mention any issues whatsoever. Then 5 days later my wife's eCAS status changed to "Decision Made".

Hey Kaisin82

Was an interview required?
If not... relax... you are in the clear
Once new schedule A is reviewed they will issue the COPR and visa will be in the passport :)

i really hope so....it's been a long wait for everyone....no interview is needed as i'm applying under provincial nomination

hopefully i can receive news soon.....

If applying via the Singapore office, I believe it's pretty rare NOT to get a remed request though. Principal applicants that have more chance of not getting a remed request are usually from places like Europe, the US, Australia, etc.

Having said that, I know someone who applied via Singapore, who got her PR in only 6 months. That's very rare of course...but if it could happen to her, it could happen to you too....nobody knows...

Thanks for your input fandv. I've checked out the people who got PR in 6 months and they all have very very solid relationship background, even more so than me. The sponsor actually lived with the applicant in her home country for 2-3 years, they travelled many countries together, countries that are extremely difficult for regular Vietnamese citizens to enter. But the typical applicant I've seen, ones with no interview or major issues, they all seem to take 11-12 months to get PR.

As for the re-med, I think I will email CIC about this and ask if I can do that.

Hi DrmBig,
Just wanted to touch base and ask if there is any progress. There is None from my end. Dont know why it seems to be taking time for a simple transfer of file to SVO office. Let me know when possible.

My wife got the AOR email from SIngapore couple of days ago. After SA email, it took almost 36 days to have that. Any update from your side?

SVO sometimes do reply. After 24 long months. :o

"A positive eligibilty decision was completed on April 14, 2014.

Further instructions are being prepared, and will be sent in the coming weeks directly to the prinicpal applicant via email.

We hope this information will be of assistance."

I don't understand, some people have to wait 1 year or even 2 years to get an interview, but bentsu, you seem to got your interview in about 6 months, how was that possible?

Any new for any one?
