Today i received all the pictures and documents proof we sent with our application, back from singapore office in my canada address. Its now already a week the passport of my wife has reached singapore. Lets see how much time will it take.

Hi everyone,

I'm fairly new to this forum and submitted my wife's application in Feb. I just got my SA last Friday. Do you guys have a sense of whether processing times are speeding up at the Singapore office (although the avg. time on the website appears to be LONG at 26 months)? I've looked through some of the last few pages in this thread and the sentiment seems positive. I also noticed that a few people had their apps processed within 11-14 months which is really encouraging. Congrats to everyone who is at the finish line - it must feel so good :)

I'd really appreciate any insight or encouragement on the timeline. I'm feeling a bit demotivated by the long wait ahead :(

All the best to you all :)

Hello Kevin002,

Welcome to this forum. I seen all files from Singapore SVO start moving very quickly from last September and I see a lot of forum members got their PPR between 14 to 17 months.

Good luck...You will get your good news soon!!

Cheers,

Thanks for that positive news Bold9900! :) Hoping for a speedy and positive outcome.

Hi ching ching,

I just saw the our ecas status it just changed to " Decision Made". My wifes passport reached Singapore on 13th March. So on basis of ecas can i assume that the passport will be received soon? I need to book her tickets. Her medical tests one year expiry date is on May2nd, so does she need to land in canada before that as mandatory?

Hello all,

I became Canadian Citizen from last year, I went back to get married with my wife in Vietnam. I already sent my application to CIC to sponsor my wife under Family Sponsorship and still waiting from Singapore Visa Office. I am planning to go back Vietnam to see my wife in this July because I can not wait no more longer to see my wife.

This is my time line.

CIC Received my application: November 16, 2012
Received Approval Sponsorship Letter: December 07, 2013 (On Online Status show: "Sponsorship Application Status: Decision Made") (Forwarded to Singapore Visa Office)
Singapore Visa Office Received application: December 20, 2012
And now showing: Sponsorship Application Status "Process", Permanent Residence Application Status "Application Received"

Anyone has any ideas about my application, and what does it mean to change from "Decision Made" to "Process"?.

Thank you,

Harry

Hello Harry,

Your application status is same as mine. Timeline and ECAS also the same, SIN visa office received my application on 20 Dec 2012 too ;D. Now my Ecas also turn back Decision Made after 1 month it was "in process". I really don't know why it changed like that but after all it turn back. Do not worry, any change is our happiness to know that they are working on our application.

Please share with me any your updated news as we are same time submission.

Thanks! :)
