thanks shiny! When i got the letter i did not undertand what they men by this then i googled the term and went to the same link u given. Read it but still did not understand cause it says this procedure was introduced to speed up the process i mean to save time. But in my case its taking more time. If they asked me do the medical again the result would go faster than this. And here they taking almost three month. Then they will say what more the need. I dont know why dont ask for everything at a time. Like i dont them asking for police verification again after 3 months. Rather they should provide a list of things needed which i can gather within this time....just hopeless...

But Mehfuza, good news is, you are very close. I would say you should get the visa done by Feb 2013 the latest. According to the website, it does say that the medical re-assessment is the only thing holding the decision. So, hopefully they do it soon and you will be good to go

i really hope that. Though im not sure. Reason is if the medical is the only thing then why three months for this. I can send re med tomorrow and it takes a month to get the report. Isnt this procedure taking long. Just pray for me. My daughter is growing every day...shes missing her dad so much.

Any one please tell me does singapore contact the sponsor or the applicant? People who has been send emials from SVO did they(sponsors) get the mail/email or their spouses (applicant) got that? So far i know AOR is sent to the sponsor to let him know he is eligible to sponsor but what about the file when it goes to singapore? Then do they contact the applicant? Also is anyone here who used representative(immigration consultant)?

Only for the AOR SVO contact with sponsor after that all contact will be with the applicant.

Only AOR and the interview letter with schedule is sent to the sponsor that's it.They do not send any letter to the sponsor when the file is received in singapore ,on the aor letter is written the file will be transfered to singapore for further processing, the only way to know if it has reached is by looking in ecas. The rest is sent to the sponsored person.

Youve been waiting for a while without any update, i feel sorry i really hope you hear something from singapore very soon. i dont get why is application received for that long :-X be strong. they should seriously open a new visa office in another asian country is ridiculous the waiting time and all the countries singapore is dealing with..Is the government of canada that poor.we should all make monthly donation for the new office lol

Once file is in the VO abroad, they only contact the sponsored person via mail. Unless the sponsor filled out the "Use of a Representative" form stating him or someone else as the representative.

Yes i'm applicant. For my ecas status few days ago i email to svo but still no reply got frm them.

No still not they contact with me for interview. Last may they contact for my birth certificate after that no contact. I never heard this type of situation like me before. Now i'm hopeless. Can anyone have any idea what will happen with me?

Please ask your husband to contact the mp of where he lives. Maybe the mp can get an update of your file. Its ridiculous that they make u wait without notice of the next step or any contact for that long. Did your husband add your baby to be sponsored when he born?
like Mehfuza they told her the step to take about the birth..

exactly i dont get it too, if they ask all at once everything will get completed faster and they will be able to get rid of one aplication. god knows whats the purpose of asking one by one. :-\
