The interview is just the first step because my wife must redo medical and police report they are expired.

@ Shiny88 did you get any news from Singapore? When you will fly to Bangladesh?

Yes my wife's letter also said 24 months or less.
What I try to do is look at older posts of people from Vietnam that went to interview. Kimbo.780's wife went to interview in november and it was about 11 months after the file was transferred to singapore.

I am going back for 1 month in June (originally was supposed to be May). So, if the interview comes in June that would be great actually. Here's crossing our fingers.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in Singapore.

Following an initial review, this application was queued for interview and is currently awaiting its turn for scheduling, based on the date it was received. Interviews are normally conducted at the High Commission of Canada in Singapore. Once an interview date is scheduled, the applicant will receive an appointment/interview letter approximately four to six weeks before interview.

We are striving to make our processing of Family Class applications as efficient as possible. We continue to meet our commitment to a service standard of 6 months to finalization for at least 80% of cases for sponsored spouses, partners, and children. Processing times are calculated from the date the application is approved by Case Processing Centre Mississauga, after which it is sent to the visa office for further processing. For individual cases, actual processing times may vary depending on the complexity of the application and the number of new applications received by the visa office.

For actual processing times of permanent resident applications in Singapore for the last 12 months, please click here. Applicants may also refer to our website, www.singapore.gc.ca, for more information about processing times.

We trust this information will be of assistance.

Hi Kurt,
I am sorry to know you are in interview list. I wish the waiting will be over very soon. It seems singapore is working hard to reduce the processing time.
I am confused. My file is in Process. I am just wondering whether I am in interview list or not. If I am in interview list, I have to uit the application and permanently leave Canada.
