Singapore Spouse Interview waiting list

Hi everyone..
My wife recieved today a letter that she is in a queue list. It says that the current queue is 24 months!! I was reading posts from years ago here and they were the same... Pretty much everyone got 24 months waiting list.. Is it a defualt waiting time and could be sooner?? It is very hard to wait another 2 years!! I applied July 2016..
It says in the CIC website now that all applications before Dec2016 will be finalized by Dec 2017!!
Please help... Anyone with similar situation?

Watch this thread, you'll find a lot of information about Singapore visa office. For what I remembered when I was coming to this thread everyday the waiting time for interview is around 5 month not 24

Thank you. I thought that 24 months is not logical for interview waiting

Its not 24 months, way shorter. However, having an interview is also not a good thing, and you guys will need to demonstrate your marriage is genuine

But I'm not too worried about the interview as much as the waiting time. We have all the proof...
I have never seen anyone gone without an interview. Maybe because we are from Somalia... And all my people immigrate all the time one way or another.

My wife got a letter on july requesting for an interview and she is on a wait list, after she passed her medical.
hope she gets her interview date soon/.

Any news on interviews yet? My wife was informed that she is reuqired for a interview and will be email to schedule one. Can someone help me? I submitted my PR app in december 21 2017

We had the interview back in Feb.. It took about 6months
