Sin number

I tried getting a sin number today and was told that I'm here to study only and as such I won't be getting one. But I'm here to work and study? Anybody knows what I can do?

Then you need to get it amended first.
It should say something like "May accept employment if meeting eligibility criteria......" Talk to international advisor at your school.

On Your study permit it should say as I poated above only then tou can work. Ao when receiving your permit in airport make sure it says that.
