Don’t quote me on this, but Atlantic provinces (Nova Scotia, Newfoundland. New Brunswick, PEI) SIN starts with 1, Quebec 2 or 3, Ontario 4 or 5, prairies (Manitoba, Saskabush and Alberta) with 6 and BC with 7. Will follow you, regardless if you move later to a different area.
