Sin number for protected person

How can protected person apply for new sin number? We uploaded notice of decision as confirmation of status and they didn’t accepted it as primary document. Obviously we are making something wrong. Can you help with it please?

No need to apply for a new SIN, you keep the current one unit you become PR holder and then you can apply for a new SIN.

Poster needs valid SIN number to work. Once become Permanent Resident, He will need to apply for another SIN number again, this time updating SIN number starting with 9..... to a permanent one. If you dont apply, they wont send it to you

The person has only just been recently been approved as a protected person. They were under the false impression they qualified for a permanent SIN# at this point which is incorrect. They will need to apply for a permanent SIN# after PR approval.
