Friends, i have a question that is it possible i can use the online form to apply for SIN while living in US?
As you all know there is an option to apply for SIN online in these days of COVID and all you need is scanned copy of Passport, PR card and proof of address in Canada.
My situation is i became PR in JAN 2019 and since then i have lived in US and i didnt get a chance to apply for SIN since then. I opened a Bank Account and i can use the bank statement for proof of address but the address belongs to my friend.
Although i had plans to go to Canada in APR/MAY and get my SIN in person but COVID has effected all such plans.
Now i want to apply for SIN as i can apply online but i want to know if thats fine as would it cause any issues as i will be using proof of address of Canada while i live in US.
