I know there are millions of topics on Taxes could not find related one.
So I landed in March 2018. Have not declared tax refunds yet.
New comer's taxes can be filed online. That is figured out. I did mine in simple tax but can not submit it. I ticked "first time filling" in software as I am doing it first time but It says:
"The Canada Revenue Agency was unable to process your return.
Our records indicate you are not filing an income tax return for the first time with the Canada Revenue Agency. Please go back in your software and ensure you do not identify yourself as someone who is filing an income tax return for the first time and submit your tax return again."
Question:
I do received Canada GST/Canada Pro benefits 75/71 CAD accordingly every three month. Does it somehow means that I filled tax returns? (In that case why I can not register in My account CRA, as it says that I should have previous years tax amounts)
or
something else is wrong?
