Hello

My name is Sim Kaur, I have a few questions, if you can please assist.

I am Canadian and my future husband is on a student visa in UK (has lived there for past 9 years working, studying) , his family is back in india. So we are planning to go to Punjabi this feb and getting married ! excited.

After marriage he will not be returning to the Uk and will stay in India . He is a indian citizen.

1. With the recent changes, should we wait for him to get his medical done until requested? or get it done and send it with his application?

2. His medical will be done from India ,? I am assuming because that is where the marriage will take place and that is where he will stay after marriage

3. I am confused on this part "Your family members must also have a medical exam, even if they are not coming with you."

He is the only one I am sponsoring, he has no children and is over the age of 18. So when it says family members , does that mean his mom, dad etc... aswell? Or only him who has to get his medical done?

Please help, thanks! alot

You can do the medical when they request for it aftertou submit the application so you do not have to do it again. ( for new applications).

Only he has to medical.

Only he has to do the medical. And do it only when they request for it.

Hi

1. You need to wait for the medical request. Panel Physicians no longer perform upfront medicals for spousal applicants.

2. He can do it wherever he wants as long as it is with a Panel Physician.
