Silly question - fold application? Y or N?

Does it matter if I fold our CIT 0001 forms to fit in the envelope? Or is it recommended to purchase an envelope that allows them to lay flat? I know it's silly :

It is better to send the application flat, CIC would like clean and neat documents, it is cheap to buy big envelopes you can get it from Dollarama, 6 envelopes for just $1.50 something like that

Use an envelope of appropriate size which is thick and secure you can fold the forms but do not staple and pin the forms.
