Signing and Submitting forms thru online webform.

Hi, so I received an email from IRCC about the incomplete two forms(IMM 5406, IMM 5669-no validation needed) that I submitted regarding my spousal sponsorship within Canada.
They linked an enquiry web form so I can upload the complete filled forms. However, when I was filling it up thru adobe pdf
I can't put my name(Signature) but I was able to put the date and the information that they needed. When I checked the webform,
there's no electronic signature button where I can just fill my name in. Can I just print the form and hand sign it then scan it or can I just use a
digital(signeasy,docusign etc.) sign app. On the first place, I handsigned my application forms that I submitted because I sent it thru mail courier
but this is a different situation because as you know they want me to submit it online.

If you were just printing it out using that method they'd have no way to know, but I'm not so sure about it being just digital the whole time. I guess it depends if it retains any information that you've used an electronic signature. I would just take the extra step to print, sign and scan it to be safe, since you already had a delay once.
