Signature

Hi,

For where they require a signature are they looking for native language as well as the name in roman characters.

My wife is Chinese so she can sign her name in Chinese Characters but also in roman characters.

I realize in other areas they ask for the native script just want to double check.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

This is sort of where I am a little hesitant as when Chinese people sign their name on bank cards and so forth they use native Chinese characters, if she writes her name in Roman characters its not really a signature.

Would both be an option or too confusing?

Anyone with Asian character experience?

how will she be signing all her documents in Canada, her drivers liscence, sin, bank card etc? that is her signature

I just dont want it to be conflicting as all the documents she is submitting (Passport, ID card, Chinese Drivers licence, Household Registry and so forth) are all done in Chinese characters.

that is why she is also asked to provide her signature in her native language
