Anyways, I think very few VOs are working on the old CEC applications, and are probably working on clearing the entire backlog before moving on to August 11 applicants. And that might take a very long time, maybe longer than the most pessimistic predictions on the forum!

Due date in GCMS says it's 12 months from AOR. Right now "date received" means nothing for CIC I guess.

I called cic and they said after september we will tell u wats ur current status in cic bcs processing time is 13 months.

Anyways, that doesn't help. You can always order GCMS notes and see the status. However the due date for eligibility is still 12 months from AOR. Don't know if that means anything though - CIC can take as long as they want.

Doesn't mean anything. Proven fact for a lot of June applicants.

There has only been ~70 petition signatures. We need way more than that to push CIC to take a step towards processing this back log!!

i just made my coworkers to sign this for me
lets keep spreading the words, so we can get the attention from immigration Canada.
i also sent a email to Chris Alexander, the minister of immigration as well
this is not acceptable.
so many of us are losing opportunities that they deserve and some of us have to move out of Canada from expired permits.
they are literately forcing us out by delaying our papers.

let's keep this post on top, so people can see it !
