Should i take appointment for landing in canada for PR

HI

I have my Canada PR Apporved and they sent me the COPR and PR Visa

Thye asked me to cross the border for the PR .

1) Do i need to take appointment for that
2) can i go on a weekend for crossing the border and get the interview and PR stamping done
3) What documents should i carry for the PR stamping

4) i am currently in US. Has anyone done this and come back to US safely?
how long does this usually take ?
