Hello!
I am quite new to the process. I have started by express entry profile and filled out all the sections. I have not yet "submitted" or "transmitted" my express entry profile yet. I wanted to see if I'd would receive OINP's NOI, so that once I receive a nomination (after NOI), I can accordingly mention in my express entry profile that I have provincial nomination.
However, I am confused as to whether or not I should submit my express entry profile in order to be in the "pool" for OINP to notice. Or just having a profile with all information (including "Ontario" as a preferred province) filled in, but not submitted is enough.
How have others done it? Do you submit your express profile, then later get 600 points added to it or create a new EE profile and reach out to OINP? Or do you wait for a little while in order to see if you can receive OINP's NOI in time, and then accordingly submit your EE profile?
