We have completed our soft landing in February 2018, then we came back to home country after 14 days. We have opened a bank account and gradually transferred some of our savings to the Canadian bank account. We are planning to shift permanently to Canada in June this year or at the beginning of next year. (Do note that I have not received any interest in my bank account in 2018 as it was a current account and I do not have any other banking facility in Canada)
Considering the above, am I required to file taxes for 2018?
