should both primary applicant and dependant reply to PR portal confirmation?

Hi,

Both me (primary applicant) and my wife (dependant) received a PR Portal confirmation at the same time. We're both in Canada. I replied from my email filling out all of our information, and stating that we'd like to handle both applications through the same account. But we never replied from my wife's email. I'm wondering, does she need to reply as well with the same information?
