Short term disability count towards 1 year of experience under EE CEC

Hi, I started a full time job and after 4 months I had an accident and went on short term disability for 6 months. These 6 months were paid by my employer under my employers short term diability policy. So my question is does these 6 months count towards the 1 year experience required for CEC?

Did you get an answer for this? Just wondering as I was in short term for 2 months
