Short of RO applying renew PR card

Hi, anyone has such experience that short of RO but successfully applied to renew PR card? What is the timeline to refer?
I applied in October 2019, until now, I haven't received anything except a confirmation of receiving my application.

Unless you have humanitarian and compassionate reasons why you are short of your RO, what you've done by applying is to trigger a residency obligation review which may result in the removal of your PR status.

Be prepared for an extremely long renewal process, a possible refusal, and if you have humanitarian and compassionate reasons, an appeal.
