Appreciate input/advice on the following.

I received communication regarding my PR card renewal application requesting amongst other things "personal immigration entry/exit record or movement certificate issued by your country of citizenship and the countries where you have traveled or resided".

I have resided in Canada - do they require a travel history (entry exit) from CBSA?

I am confused as on the CIC webpage it indicates that by ticking the box authorizing this on the PR renewal form (amongst other applications specified), one does not need to request it directly from CBSA.

Should I request it from CBSA or not?

Thanks for any advice

NO you do not need to give IRCC the CBSA travel records. They will get it directly from CBSA. IRCC is expecting you get that from countries other than Canada.

Is it normal ? Is this asked to all applicants ?

Which question? The option of allowing IRCC to get travel history from CBSA? This is there in the PR renewal application itself.
