HI friends
I am working in the gulf

I am planning to move to Canada by June 2010

what are the procedures for importing an used car in to Canada?
is it worthwhile to do so?
please share information

Not recommended.
The car here are produced on gulf specifications (read to accustom to heat). While the cars at Canada are made for NA specifications (read to withstand extreme cold climates).

Thus, ur car would run into problems, more often than not. Besides, the transportation costs would be enormous, in that final price, u'll get similar or better NA models.

QORAX is right, you are talking about two very different climates, and one is very hot and other in extremely cold plus cost of shipping. Sell the one you have in gulf and buy one in Canada unless you have a special car...

Actually it is probably not importable unless it was made to US/Canadian standards. See: www.riv.ca
