Hi there Guys..
I am a Indian ship officer working in foreign Merchant ships as 2nd Officer(Navigating Officer) . Just wants to know if anybody has applied for PR under NOC 2273. I mean my profession is in the NOC list but my profile wont score high points in CRS system. In fact No sailor would get high points as other professions can get. we are diploma guys who works 6 months on and off schedule sometimes even less. what are the odds of getting PR for us . Has anybody witnessed a case like me. Its not based on professions, its based on points commonly as whole. Can anybody suggest me a consultant who has handled a case of Ship officers PR in India.
I would appreciate any inputs and guidance.
Sincerely
A lost Sailor

Hi thanks for replying ..
No we all are not BSc in nautical science. We choose different paths and streams when we join our cadetship programmes. I choose a diploma based and then on experience based cleared my exams for 2nd mate. for that reason only I have completed my Bachelors in Arts from 2012 to 2015 with 67% aggregate but in private mode.
Thanks for your time again.

I am a Deck Cadet and currently Canada enrolled in a graduate certificate certificate course in Toronto. After this I'm going to apply for PR and most probably get it! Hope this helps. And make sure you get CLB 9 in English test, you'll be good to go
