In China, the PRTD has to go through VAC, so it takes long.
VAC provides online chat and their list of document is different from the official website, especially the photo requirement. Chat online or send email to them first, they will reply you with the list of document!!! Even though, I was asked to fill another form they provided on site.
Lots of people(10+) waiting outside before VAC opens. Some arrived 2 hours earlier before they open.

- Applied in Guangzhou VAC on Dec 13, 2018. I attached a letter marking urgent, explaining I have a return flight within a month, but seems useless.
- Got visa back on Jan 14,2019. Visa valid from Jan 11. Guess it was processed on Jan 11 and released to VAC on Jan 12, mailed to me on Jan 13.
