This forum was such great help when I was preparing my husband's PR application, and now I am back as he wants to start the process to sponsor his 15 yo son from his previous marriage.
They have shared custody, the papers say the minor child's residence is at the mom's place, but that dad has access to the child, and can have him at his place whenever he wants. He spent a month with us visiting last year.
She will sign the non accompanying parent form, witnessed by notary public, saying she agrees for the child to immigrate.
Does anyone know if that would be enough, or would they need to change the custody agreements, to add that the child's residence will be with the father?
