So I see a lot of back and forth as well as a lot of comments and questions about this: settlement funds.
According to the official website you need around $12k in order to land under PR to support yourself.
Now, my question is around the instances were you don't need settlement funds. When I applied for PR I applied under the ONIP Foreign Worker Steam and on my application I provided no funds. I've bee. Found eligible and I just want to query this. My understanding is because I am working in Canada under a valid visa (my visa is tied to my employment) I do not need to provide evidence of settlement funds.
