On 17th Jan, my background check status changed from "Not Application" to "We are processing..."
I guess it is now in IP2 stage. Waiting for PPR...

Secondly, my wife's passport is expiring in this August. How should I do with this? Should I wait for the PR approval and then apply for a passport renewal? Can someone advise on this please?

Thirdly, once we get PR, can we withdraw money from the fund that we are showing as "Proof of Settlement Fund'?

Got updated to IP2 yesterday (Jan 18) & wife's passport expires July.

We are already working on getting a new one. I think you should too.

As per funds, I have no idea.

If we apply for a new passport now, when we get the new passport, the old one will be marked as expired/invalid. In our PR application, we have given the old passport number. So, in the PPR stage, which passport will be submit? old or new?

What I read somewhere was you need to notify CIC of the new passport as soon as you have it via CSE.

Then you can submit the new one for PPR.

Hi guys,

So, there's an appendix to my PPR which is a form on "height and eye colour chart."

Nowhere in the PPR was any reference made to it.

Neither is MyCIC account activated for me to upload the document.

Do I fill it and send along with my passports for onward delivery to Ghana or do I upload it via CSE?

I have never seen NA1
2 - Med passed : 5/10/2017
3- NA2 : 7/10/2017

4- Additional document uploaded: 29/10/2017
5- IP2 : 2/11/2017

No update till now , I emailed ottawa visa office and they informed me that my file is at their office and is being processed as per their regulatory timeline.

Hi.

Need some assistance. I received a message from London Visa Office asking for the following documents.

1) Principal Applicant - Additional proof of employment : I had submitted a reference letter from my previous employer (first one) which included Job Description and salary details. I had worked at this organization for about 8 years, hence decided to claim points for this one only. However, post this company I have worked for two other companies for which I didn't claim points.

Now they are asking for additional proof of employment for all previous and current employer. Will salary credits in respective bank accounts, experience letter from the companies would suffice? They have also asked for Tax Documents. Does this relate to tax certificate provided by employers?

2) Secondary Applicant - They have asked for proof of employment. What documents should I submit for my wife?

I will be highly obliged if anyone could please guide.

Medical passed on 28th Dec due to additional test requested

PPR 22 January

Never asked for VO and never applied for GCMS
But as per my status update and ppr time it is in NDVO.
