That was my doubt, however with IRCC in play, everything is possible.
The only realistic scenario would be re-submitted application to address a concern.
First application rejected with a specific concern when everything has been passed -> they submit a new application addressing this concern -> after AOR (50-55 days) the application is transferred to the same officer for the final decision.

It also checks out with the fact there's no medical exam or other dates specified.

Even if they resubmit the application, the process is starting again. FDs are based on the AOR dates it seems. Never know!

What is the timeline nowadays for TRV from India? I am Oct 8 applicant waiting for BGC to complete from Nov 27. Last update was Pre arrival and PA Eligibility completed on Dec 4. PA has plan to travel to Canada in week of April 20, 2026. What are your thoughts? Should I apply for TRV in advance to be on safe side or being optimistic about PPR in month of Feb is better?

My PA is also hoping to come (move) to Canada in late March subject to spousal PR approval ofcourse... However, we have not made any concrete bookings or plans just yet. We have decided to put the plan to apply for a TRV on hold for maybe another week or two because we do feel a spousal application update is just around the corner. September 2025 applicant, we are awaiting BGC and the subsequent FD/PPR - it can happen anytime now (or hopefully by mid-February based on similar trends). I have heard that the passport visa stamping does take between 4-6 weeks after submission, meaning we may be looking at atleast a month for the passport to come back, so need to account for that time as well, regardless its a spousal PPR or a TRV PPR.
