Don’t worry. It looks like some September applicants are experiencing delays. My friend and I submitted our applications on September 7, literally within the same hour. I took the exam two days ago, but his application has been stuck right after Background was completed since November 26!!! It could simply be that the officer handling both of your files is on leave or that officer is dealing with a backlog.
congrats to all who have already taken and passed the test!!! I have seen that there are still people from 2023 waiting for their citizenship grant! likewise, ppl in the october 2025 cohort started to take the exam while ppl from mid sept are stuck after Background check. I cant understand based on what criteria they are prioritizing some over the other. do they conduct a preliminary check and choose the applicants that are, i mean, i dont know, young, single, or from certain nationalities etc? and then prioritize their applications first maybe? I am very sorry for the guys from 2023-2024 honestly. :/ why dont they do the review process based on the date of application? why? just trying to understand.
