i am guessing this based on the new processing time system they introduced. as per last update in oct, they were trying to process Aug applications in 1 month and Sep applications in 3 months. It isn't FIFO, so that logic wouldn't work. There's a SLA of 6 months they try to honor, but the variance in individual applicant's complexity changes how you will get processed. The expectation of FDs/PPR/RFVs/Portal/etc should be based on where your individual application is in the context of processing.

You saw that on your cg key ?Looks like there's been a little drought of PPR/RFV since the start of the month.

Awesome! My spouse is back in the country, and we submitted our passports today to VFS. I guess I'll check gckey tomorrow for updates. I was impatient and checked it just now. But as expected, nothing therePassport submitted: Nov 4

I used a service courier so it might take awhile before I’m reunited with my passport.
So grateful for the smooth journey.
Wishing everyone else waiting quick processing.
My friend's old biometrics got updated like this. However, five days after RFV mail, she got a new BIL request. Perhaps this is because she renewed her passport. Her husband did not get this request.Old Biometrics got updated today in my profile, will I still receive my BIL?

If you have some free time, please see if you can document this. Will be really helpful! For example, I got to know today that if I get a letter from the department of motor traffic from my home country, can shorten the time taken to get the license (My country is not eligible for 100% 'credit' transfer).I think I documented a few things like my own journey for getting a mortgage post landing. If I get time this week, I can certain create a master post for post-landing settlement for outland folks. Thanks for the idea!
I have heard this from other threads, it seems they use those biometrics as placeholder and then request the letter. If I had to guess, I would say it's so they can move forward while the BIL is not sent.Old Biometrics got updated today in my profile, will I still receive my BIL?
