Got my CoPR on March 26th 2021
Application submitted on September 9th 2020
Application wrongly refused on 21st of October 2020
Requested for reconsideration the same day and application reopened on 3rd December 2020. Spouse(dependant on PR app) recently joined me in Canada, like a month ago. All checks passed December 3rd.

Wishing everyone waiting for CoPR the very best
What were the reasons for rejection?

Raised webform on 15/03/2021 and received reply on 02/04/2021 as following :

We verified the information on file and can confirm that:

  • The eligibility requirements are passed.
  • The security background verification has not been initiated.
  • The criminal background verification is currently valid.
I have a few questions @legalfalcon . Please help.
What does is mean "criminal background verification is currently valid" ? Is it passed?
I am FSW-O ( India) September 16 2020 AOR , How long do you think security can take ?

@legalfalcon in one of the threads you've mentioned that a case analyst or an assistant work under an officer's supervision and their rank is higher than the case processing agent.
In my case notes the only person who has reviewed A11.2 is case processing agent and they marked the eligibility as met, in a detailed review for each document.
What should I expect after this? Will the case go for review by a case analyst or an assistant or directly goes to officer's review?
Is there any reason that it wasn't reviewed by an assistant or analyst?
It be be either an analyst, or an officer who can review next.

The note you are referring to, see if it has R10 (completeness check), if it does, then that is an R10 note and not eligibility, for which there will a separate note with all the calculations and document review.

This means that criminality is passed. Since criminality has a shelf life, it is currently valid. “Valid” here indicates, that the documents required for the specific stage are “legal, not expired, and accepted by IRCC,” and no further input is required by the applicant.

There is a separate note for R10. The latest one is A11.2 which has detailed info about employment, etc.
The A11.2 was done by case processing agent, in upper section it says met, also in the eligibility section of the note it shows passed,
What should I expect after this? Also, it's been more than 5 month since the A11.2 was done.

Hello Everyone,

A final decision was made on my CEC Inland PR application. Received COPR on 2nd April. Here is my latest status. However, I haven't got the COPR letters yet in my Messages about your application section. Is this all confirmed now? Do I just need to wait for the COPR letters?

Additionally, in the Document Status section of my application, I see an expiry on COPR as 2021/07/01. I am not sure why there is an expiry set here. I am an Inland applicant. @legalfalcon , please advise.

Also, I gave my biometrics on November 27th, 2020 but my Biometrics completed date shows September 3rd, 2020. Is this intended?

Hi All,

I am PNP Outland applicant, AOR Sep-12-2020, and recently have received the below email:

Any other member??? Please let's discuss.

BTW I have raised a web-form inquiry last week and waiting for response.

Update on IRCC processing capacity for your Economic Class – Provincial/Territorial Nominees (EE) application.
If you are a representative, please share this important information with your clients.
Dear client,

Thank you for your interest in Canada. We are looking forward to having you here.

Due to the impacts of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), we’re experiencing longer than usual processing delays. Rest assured, we are still actively processing your Economic Class – Provincial/Territorial Nominees (EE) application, but it will take longer than usual to get back to you.

This also means that we are unable to provide accurate processing times on individual applications at this time. As a result, we have removed the progress bar in the online account of Economic Class – Provincial/Territorial Nominees (EE) clients. You can still get the most current information about the status of your Economic Class – Provincial/Territorial Nominees (EE) application by checking the ‘Details about application status’ section in your online account.

In order to provide you with the most up-to-date information about our current processing capacity, we are posting weekly updates on expected processing delays by type of application.

Keep us informed of your situation
While you wait, please contact us to let us know of any changes in your application, such as a change to your situation or contact information.

Important information about Canada’s travel restrictions due to COVID-19
To protect Canadians from COVID-19, travel restrictions are in place for individuals travelling to Canada. Even when your application is complete, you may not be able to travel to Canada right away. As the COVID-19 situation changes, we regularly update our website. Visit the coronavirus disease page on the IRCC website to find the latest information before you make travel plans, and again before departing for Canada, to avoid being denied boarding or entry in Canada.

We are sorry to keep you waiting and thank you for your patience,

Sincerely,
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada

All COPRs have an expiry date by default, and you have to land in Canada before that date, if your are outside Canada. In your case you will receive a COPR, which is signed and stamped, and effective April 2, 2021, you would have gained a PR status.

Just give it a few days, and you will receive the COPR, also, keep an eye on your email. COPR are usually sent by email.
