Hello,

I received oath invitation on Nov 14.
The Oath date is Dec 3rd.

I have emailed asking for a reschedule as I will not be able to make that date. I have not received any reply, but when i called their phone, they just said I will get a new date after I miss my current appointment.

I took the Oath on 29th Nov. 2019.

It's going to be 15 months since I sent my application, they asked for the finger prints on September, but I am still waiting for the test invitation. I would like to know if there is anyone on the same boat.

I would highly recommend you call the cic call center. They will send a note to the immigration office asking for an update, then the officer has to look at your file and come back with a response. This should be enough to bring your application back in line, and you will hear about the test.

Since you were asked for finger prints, your application would considered "Non-Routine". Non-routine cases can take significantly more time and you can't do anything about it except to follow up and keep reminding them from time to time. Don't worry though, in the end you will get your citizenship. It's just a matter of time. Good luck!

I am still waiting for a test invitation unfortunately... I called the CIC and they just tell me that my application is waiting in line for test invite!!! But nothing

Since you were asked for finger prints, your application would considered "Non-Routine". I called them a month ago, and the same thing, they told me I have to wait and that’s all!

No documents are required as per them and that's my application is in the test ready que waiting for a test date!! I don't know when!
